The future of wellbeing at work

- How to increase sense of belonging and employee wellbeing in global companies

Employee well-being is a key word for companies, and with this conference we focus on the topic in large, international companies that crosses European and international borders.

We spend a large amount of our waking hours at work, and the workplace has the potential to serve as a social community for the employees. But how do we ensure that employees thrive when they are at work, and how do we create a sense of belonging to the workplace so that we can retain the workforce?

At the conference you will get inspired on how we can create a happier and more productive workforce through joint workplace efforts. The ambition is for the conference to serve as a platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices across European workplaces and relevant organizations.

Who should attend?

This conference is designed especially for HR executives and managers, employer brand managers, ESG-consultants, health officers and others responsible for employee-wellbeing and strategic health planning in global companies.

Content of the conference

Through keynote speakers, case examples, networking activities and shared experiences with movement, we focus on solutions and experiences so that we can make smarter and better investments in well-being strategies in the future.

We have invited experts and global companies, that have the knowledge to inspire us to a better future of wellbeing at the workplace. Join this day of inspiration with the opportunity to network with other global HR representatives.

Themes of the day:

  • How do we ensure well-being and community across a global organization that crosses European borders and cultures, and what to be aware of?
  • How can we enhance well-being in the workplace by being more physically active together, and as colleagues foster a better togetherness?
  • How can we strategically support employees’ happiness, unity, and desire to work across a large workplace?

Occasion

In Week 39, the European Week of Sport takes place. The European Week of Sport is designed to give people all over Europe and across the world a springboard into being active. This Week exists to improve awareness of the importance an active lifestyle has for everyone, encouraging participants to share their experiences and activities on social media using the hashtag #BeActive.

On Friday, September 27th in week 39, the Health Committee under the European Federation for Company Sport, in collaboration with the Danish Federation for Company Sport, will host this exciting conference.

Physical activity strengthens the unity and community among colleagues, and movement is one of the measures you can use to increase the well-being of the company’s employees.

As a participant at the conference, you'll gain insights into how integration of movement in our worklife can be improved. Throughout the day, you'll be treated to samples of active breaks, and you'll receive concrete examples of how to make your own workday more active. We have compiled a range of specific suggestions for you to take home when the day is over.
